Simona’s work includes musical direction, accompanying, transcription and song arranging. She is in demand as not only a dynamic musician but also as an energetic and motivating teacher.

 

Simona has a wealth of experience and dedicates her time to musical theatre and cabaret. As Musical Director, Simona’s theatre credits include The Producers, Hot Mikado, Seussical the Musical, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof, Oliver! and Fame – the Musical. Her performances have included shows at Jermyn Street Theatre, Pentland Theatre, Shaw Theatre and Bridewell Theatre. Simona also works at some of the UK’s leading theatre schools including Tring Park School for the Performing Arts and Millennium Performing Arts. With excellent sight-reading and keyboard skills, Simona has established herself as a reliable and self-assured pianist for auditions, masterclasses, workshops and rehearsals.

 

On the cabaret circuit, Simona is in demand as an accompanist. She holds the post as resident pianist for Paul L Martin’s Cabaret Confidential at The Pheasantry on Chelsea’s King’s Road. Simona is Musical Director for the Singers’ Cabaret Workshop and performs frequently at many of London’s leading cabaret venues. She is also one of the pianists for the resident string quartet at The Ritz Hotel in London.

 

Simona works with the London Gay Men’s Chorus as one of their accompanists, sectional conductors and song arrangers. Commissions from the LGMC have been performed at the Cadogan Hall, Union Chapel, Hackney Empire and Queen Elizabeth Hall and she has accompanied them at venues including the U.S. Embassy in London, Prague, Union Chapel and Royal Festival Hall. Her extended work as an accompanist has also led to performances at The Roundhouse, Trafalgar Square, Victoria and Albert Museum and tours in New York, France, Germany and Israel. She is as much at home working with large ensembles as she is with individual singers and instrumentalists.

 

Media work includes soloist for Mercedes and National Lottery radio advertising campaigns, conductor at the world premiere of Disney’s A Christmas Carol in Leicester Square and Musical Director for the British Media Awards at the Emirates Stadium, Financial Risk Awards at Park Lane Hotel, London and Your Money Awards at Merchant Taylor’s Hall in the City of London. She has been a Performance Coach for the ITV productions of Newsroom’s Got Talent.
